Sing shamelessly, in the shower, or elsewhere, preferably in public. If you don’t know what to sing, try this wonderful song, “Simple Gifts,” written by Elder Joseph Bracket in 1848. Many Wiccans have adapted the refrain from a later set of very Christian lyrics called “The Lord of the Dance” written in 1963 by Sydney Carter. Some of his verses, however, have been criticized as anti-Semitic and, also due to copyright issues, they are not published here. The lyrics may, however, be obtained from the Internet.
